There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Those are pretty dark. Are they supposed to "lighten up" over time with exposure to the elements and the sun? I noticed that happened on a pair of dark brown calf shoes I owned

Thoughts on this SC? Does this seem like an orphan jacket? Also, about the lapels, is the notch too high?

Don't like that one, JR. Very blah American style. Baggy cut, high button point.

Go with a higher end maker. Those tend to be better. See the list I posted a few pages back this morning

Also I prefer blazers with patch pockets.

    Thoughts on this one too?

I know I'm supposed to be staying away from patterns but its difficult. This and the above SC are listed under $200.

JR: you're a Chicago guy. Have you gone over to Neiman Marcus, Saks or Nordstrom to try on any of these brands to see what fits you best? Do you know the measurements for a good fitting jacket to help determine whether something on EBay will fit well?

I wouldn't set foot in any of those places personally. Nothing against those that do, it's just not my world or budget. I know my measurements pretty well after a few mishaps. [IMG] I've already assessed the measurements of what I'm postingand and they fit me. It's just a matter of, am I buying the same country crap or a decent piece.

I was mentioning what everyone was doing/asking about and that I don't have any news or questions from Stitches for this thread, as soon as I posted that I realized this thread doesn't have any news/questions from you either. Thats all.

    Prof Cleavage,
I have an idea of what I want to do with this tie. I have a shirt in mind. Definitely not one of my plain ones. But I do not yet know whether it will work or not. I shall have its unveiling very soon.

They JUST shipped the Cappelli tie. I cannot wait for that one to arrive. [IMG]

I wouldn't go nuts with the choice of shirt for that tie - the tie should be the focal point.
