Definitely go with the 48 then. Winner.

Is that the windowpane or the solid Minnis fresco?

    I thought you returned yours?

Guys, I'm telling you, my fit is NOT perfect. Take a look at the back of tchoys recent B&T suit...that's what I call perfect. I will never get that with RTW, but Formosa is a damn good fit for me. Don't get unrealistic expectations from one crappy picture I took that really doesn't show the fit all too well. I think Rudals and AJL will be looking just as good if not better after a trip to the tailor, but yes...I do have a big grin because I love these suits.

I have not returned it. It's still the best suit that I have. LOL
I will hold it for now. [IMG]

FYI I'm also about the same height as you (though my license says 5'8" :hide: ) and I never even thought to consider a Short in Formosa.

No, I don't have that blue plaid (yet). Happy to take your 48 off your hands if you want to send it up north. :)

What? No, my better fit is the 48. Which is why I'm happy to take the 48 that's too small for you off your hands.

It's the windowpane, aka subtle plaid, 11 oz H&S. Procured for purposes of fit only, though now I'm wondering, hmmm...

Nah, pants are too tight, just checked. I'd have to go the mto jacket & pants separates route, though I believe that ship has sailed. Besides if I were going that route I'd probably opt for something like the 11 oz birdseye or Minnis fresco, were they available as mix 'n match.

Not that this isn't a lovely suit, just wouldn't be my first choice given the other options.

6'3", I wouldn't want to be 6'8". I can pull of the 50 using the hand cup and ass cover rules, but not the BOC to floor. My legs are too long so that never works. If a L was offered, I would buy it, but my R is nowhere near Thom Browne territory so I'm good as far as I'm concerned....which is all that matters.

FWIW, I would've never guessed you're a size 54. You look way more slender than that. Kudos to your sense of what fits and flatters you(r body)!
