Clag speaks the truth. $ in, $ out. Sell what you don't wear and no longer want in your closet, get what you really want!

Just posted this over on WAYWRN. Maiden voyage for the ex-Noodles Capelli tie. Unfortunately there was an iPhone colour malfunction. The shirt is actually light blue. Other colours are largely correct though (following a bit of frantic Aperture slider-jiggling).

The Capelli is very, very soft and ties a sumptuous knot. Noodles supposedly rejected it as too narrow, but for me it's the perfect width.

    Nice tie Cox:

Did Rudals get the standard cut for the tie for a 9cm tie? Is that a DFIH? I'm curious if the knot requires it to be thick enough (i.e. too wimpy with a regular FIH). I.e. is Cappelli normally "thinner" where the knot occurs.

I recall Rudals thinking it too wide.

NMWA are out of both 48R and 50R. I hope we brought some business to NMWA with all this chatter. [IMG]

Oh yeah...I hope some poor soul out there who bought a 50R realizes that he needs a 48R.

I think B&S could be the way to go if it hadn't turned into a dumpster fire. It's always painful to lose a % to consignment but Spoo is a great dude and generates so much traffic everywhere.

I think most items wouldn't fetch too much more via B&S and that avenue can sometimes take months.

I'm about to ship a hefty box to Spoo, myself - Belstaff jacket, some 12D shoes, Belvest SC, Drake's tie or two ... etc. etc. Hoping for a decent return.

Thanks for these thoughts. I don't think it would hurt to make some inquiries within this thread, although maybe that violates SF rules? There's a nice cameraderie here and we know our internet personas well enough within this context. JRD has offered ties earlier on which I thought was a nice thing.

I mean a Belvest SC or a Drake's...? Sounds tempting.
