I thought you already had that green pindot inbound? Hence the burgundy challis as the suggested second (and even better!) addition.

Mix it up a bit, man. I actually think you can carry a slightly brighter colour, like that green Panta, which is a lot brighter than my one. But you don't need two green ties. And grey is way down the list of your tie needs. With navy covered, then green, burgundy, rust are your next three I'd say.

the panta is gorgeous. and the teal will be a great contrast with navy.

the gray is a pretty, but may not provide a lot of contrast with a darker navy. would be cool with a brown suit.

basically, set your brain aside and listen to use! :p jkjk kind of.

But don't buy two green ties in a row. I like green ties too, but get a burgundy one next: it's the absolute classic contrast to both grey and navy. There's a burgundy Panta too, if you like the style (and it's great).

id agree. burgundy should be the next stop. and if you rock that herringbone one, no one will fault you.

Except that you have three better suggestions in the last page. On that, we'll fault you. :)

I actually don't have a burgundy and surprisingly I have just one navy blue left (royal navy blue). This is all that is left of me...sadly.

Keep the first half, phase out the second half, and red alert: Noodles DOES need a navy tie. I suggest:

    This or this from NMWA

    or, super bargains,

This or this from the Exquisite Trimmings sale.

All by Drake's, all very different, and you might want all of them.

Those above are "survivors" and plan on keeping. I've shelved some hideous Zegna ties that I paid full price on before I came to SF [IMG]

[IMG] - I really want this. My problem used to be that whenever I saw a navy blue tie, I would just grab it without thinking that they're not going to provide contrast against my navy blue suits [IMG]. But like Stitchie said, they look good on their own but it doesn't work for my current collection of suits.

That's exactly what I am beginning to think I should do.

I dislike the fancy stripe on the last one, but I like the color. Is that color available without the fancy stripe?

Clags, no. I like the 1st one because it is bold. But it looks a lot like the one you picked out at Itaewon.
So Mimo prefers the 3rd. Clags?

1 is OK, and I can see how a bolder stripe might suit Noodles. The thing is, it's so blue. And we have a problem with piling the navy on the navy.

But I could live with 1.

Isn't the 3rd one more close to a solid pretty much?
