Your pictures were my inspiration.
I think I've asked before but how are shibumi ties?
they are certainly no passagio crawatte, but they are nice
JRD, developing a soft spot for GC now?
THanks both...actually will be in Berlin and am thinking about stopping by Shibumi. Still, ties will I think run about $100 after VAT is removed, and that's in Vanda territory...still the burgundy/navy block stripe and the brown shantung striped (or just the solid brown shantung) look very tempting.
nope, that was sarcasm.
have u been following the Passagio "scandal" with the inkjet silks?
For the love of God, please don't let that spill into this thread!
I have two amazing jackets coming this week. Can't come here soon enough
Those are nice, JRD. From where/who?
belvest and SP... via fleabay
yeah, at the shubumi price point, there is very stiff competition. panta, vanda, fully tricked out hober.... it really boils down to tie design at that point for me, as the quality is great with all, and id put panta, vanda and hober above shibumi.
wu is also a great maker, excellent ties, and at an unreal price.
I've been meaning to try out a Conrad, but it looks like the knots his ties tie are somewhat thick? I like thinner knots
