Rudals, I was so thrilled when I saw that fit. Fantastic. Has Mrs. Noodles seen some of your earlier pictures? I'm curious what she thinks of your improvement.
Thanks Clags. Mrs. Noodles is the one who picked everything out AND folded up the pocket square AND she begrudgingly took that pic. I regret deleting my old pix because I now have nothing to reference to. She likes the way I dress enough to not tell me what to wear. But I ask her just for fun. Mrs. Noodles understands different types of ties and what they convey. She helped me get over the fence on neats. I thut they were all just butt ugly. Now I love them. But she also does like 3" ties and somewhat tapered contemporary look.
At any rate, I still have a lot to learn but I must give YOU credit for being the most helpful member in my development since...the navy blue tie meltdown. What's next Clags?
I was on an emergency and went to JosABanks and tried to buy a tie but then walked out after seeing the price tag. $80 for a tie?! That's just ridiculous.
There are still 9 more days of bidding left...don't expect that tie to go for 9.99.
Week 2 workout update
Pretty disappointed with weight loss progress this week. That said, I am getting much more control over my diet rather than food controlling me. I am sure my stomach is shrinking. I eat much smaller portions than before and stop when I'm full. I'm sure I'll see another drop sometime soon. Overall it's still a downward trend so I can't complain.
My running progress hasn't necessarily improved I don't think. I'm going to try and push it a little harder this next week.
Fri (Today - wasn't feeling very motivated and I didn't get enough sleep last night)
I'm really happy with the lift routine I did this week. Overall I am keeping better track of my lifts so that I can spot improvement. I destroyed my chest this morning.
All lifts are 4x10
Chest Fly (Machine) - selected plate "3" = 20lb selected weight
Dumbbell Press - 50 lb
Lat Pulldown (Machine) - selected plate "6" = 75lb selected weight
Scapular Wall Slides (these are much harder than they look)
Face Pull (Machine) - selected plate "2" = 16lb
Incline Press (Machine) - selected plate "8" = 101lb selected weight
Tricep Kickback - 15lb
One Arm Dumbbell Protraction = 35lb
Blackburn (I take up half the gym when I do these)
Seated Row (Machine) - selected plate "7" = 87lb selected weight
Face Pull (Machine) - selected plate "4" = 24lb selected weight
Military Dumbbell Press: 40lb
Pushups 4x25 (broke form pretty bad towards the end on these)
Scapular Wall Slides
Bench Press (Machine) - selected plate "8" = 101lb selected weight
Any advice/feedback/help is appreciated! Thanks for the new exercises also, Crimson/MF!!
Question out of curiosity:
Why are black shoes and black belts allowed with navy suits when you wouldn't wear a black tie or a pair of black trousers with a navy jacket?
Why wouldn't I wear a black tie with a navy jacket?
And I would I wear black trousers with anything (except a tuxedo, which I hope to never have to wear)?
