Someone posted a one-piece hidden BD spread collar linen shirt in the Luxire thread in past couple weeks. I thought it looked excellent for casual wear.

I have a perfectly CBD Truzzi shirt with those undercollar buttons - can't see the buttons when they're not fastened, and collar stands nicely sans tie when the buttons are fastened. It's surprising that these collars are not more popular actually

Is it a hidden button BD? With those little pockets with buttonholes underneath the collar points? I was thinking about ordering a shirt like that to see how it looks. Ties are sadly becoming obsolete in my industry, so a collar like that would be a good option for work shirts.

I did get a prototype made and thought about it, but I'm not sure there's a wide audience for that. Good special project idea though if there's a group demand for those. Could do a simple blue stripe fine oxford (i.e. something that looks good with a tie or without)
Yes, that's right. Most of those shirt styles in RTW don't have a very attractive collar shape IMO (small spread). I rarely see some that have that feature and an attractive spread collar
