Most of their S/S lineup is linen or has linen in it. Linen feels rougher and wrinkles more than wool, but it also wear cooler. It's very much a summer fabric. It's not worse quality or cheaper than wool, it simply feels and wears very differently.

That DB looks great on you btw!

As kulata said, the Jort/La Spalla might be better for you. It's fully canvassed, and mostly has high supers or wool/cashmere blends. The pleated natural shoulder is a nice touch as well.

That DB looks short on you Doodals! It might be the camera angle. I just bought one DB from SS and fits very nice.

Yes, I agree. I did not see much of wool. That is why I am not writing them off and will return tomorrow. All my suits are 100% wool. I was just sharing my first impression.

look into MTM too while you are there, at least the fabric books.

Sienna would probably work really well for you and they have some nice 130s wool. That is, if you're cool with a ticket pocket.

SS had a section in the back dedicated to MTM and I checked out the shirt swatches. I didn't know where the swatches were for fabrics for suits. I noticed that they had a lot of linen mixture suits and they were all wrinklie so I wasn't too pleased. I wished they had separated them into 100% wool and others. The DB suit was for fun but I look forward to breaking out of my CBD mold.

In my limited experience, I think that SS is great value for everyday beater suits like the Napoli, but they fall short in fabric quality in their more expensive models. At that price, I went with Paul Stuart. Suitsupply's strengths are in fit, cut, and construction, but the fabric has never impressed me. They also have some crazy fashion forward stuff, which could be good or bad depending on your taste.

I suspect I have that same SuitSupply DB jacket. It does wear a tiny bit short. Interestingly, mine was quite waist-suppressed off the rack. (I haven't had it altered as far as I recall.)
