Toss them up on here and on ebay. I sold some old Allen Edmonds on Ebay for about 60-75% of what I orgiginally paid. Trying to purge all my items a bit at the moment.

If those are brown they are far from useless. If those are black, they still aren't useless, just not great. I wore black derbies the other day:

The punch cap drops the formality of black just down a notch, so it's a little bit more coherent with it's derby nature. Still, yours aren't useless.

Edit: I just learned that Rudals had fat feet. Ha.

a fair swap, but why not have both? you can make the RLs your beaters.

I am beating my head against the wall for paying full retail on 2 of these Derbys. Too much to use as beaters.

you may change your mind about that when you find out how much money you can get for them on the used market. :(

I think I will probably get below 50% of what I paid for.

Probably lower than that. I recall they were not from a well known maker? I would expect those to go for less than $100. =/

$800 shoes for less than $100 with barely any wear and tear? holy macroni and cheese.

AE sell pretty well on the Bay, I think a lot of people know about them and look out for their shoes. Additionally, most people are unaware that they can get them for much cheaper than AE's retail. I sold a pair of seconds on there for $50 MORE than what I paid from them directly from AE. =/
