Can I get an example of a summer shirt patterns that you like and are wearing? Curious what people are wearing, a photo of the pattern would be awesome. All manner of blue is something I seem to be stuck with, so anything not blue would be cool. Hope that makes sense. Spring is coming perhaps...

Blue. I wear blue. I've always thought gingham/tattersall lends itself well to spring.

I have shirts in the 2nd and 3rd patterns posted above. About as spring as it gets.

I don't like that first one at all, though.

    Thanks Clags.

I have the small check gingham in light/sky blue and find it quite nice. WIth gingham, it's a balance between having something that doesn't just look solid from any distance but close up and something so large that you start to look like a picnic table. The example you give here is lavender?

On the tattersall, i'm torn. I like the blue/brown colorway in the smaller, thinner check, but I worry that the size of the check is too thin and insubstantial. I'd be happier with a stronger check as in the first but perhaps not as strong.

TM79 why don't you like the first? Size of checks?

I might start off with a think blue stripe linen BD and work from there. But if anyone has any other thoughts, I'd love to be inspired.

I only like the 3rd one. I've not tried other patterns but the 3rd one in blue and purple makes great combos.

I wonder what the demand would be for these useless Derbys. Anyone have a gauge?

You gonna sell them? I don't think there's anything wrong with them at all. I may be in the minority there not sure. Use them to practice a high shine on the toe box or something. Or toss them up on ebay or here and see what happens. Believe it or not used shoes do sell decently.

I want to sell these and get oxfords. Since losing weight, they've become big for me.
