3 squares are on their way to Noodles. Two silk, one wool. I figured Rudals knows how to shop for his own ties, but he needs some help with squares. I'll let him post what he got, but I tried to take into consideration what he normally wears. I suspect the wool will get the most use actually. Two of the selections are squares that are also on my to-buy list.

    You certainly have evolved, sir.

Next I expect you to post pictures of new shirt acquisitions in pink and lavender (or did I miss that?).

That, I can assure you, will never happen.

I agree...and this from the man (Stitches) that said once that he only wore white shirts and never wore pocket squares.

I predict more evolution from our friend IS.

Alright. I'm second guessing my choice of squares. I wanted to make sure they were very conservative, in color and design, so that Rudals would feel comfortable wearing them to work.

This square seems like the easiest for Rudals to use. Stuff instead of fold. There'd be a nice bit of texture and dimension added to his normal linen square look. Thin, gauzy wool.

Given all the navy he wears, I thought this would be an unobtrusive addition (silk):

I figured that, if we continue working on him, he'll have several dozen brown ties by the end of the year. This square would be for that (though I think it'd also work well with burgundy or any neats with a bit of green) (silk)

Also, I think that gauzy gray-white wool is the new cream silk.

colors are nice indeed, but i find that larger scale prints are easier to use. though with rudlas mostly solid and very small dot ties, they should work.

Yeah, I figured he wasn't going for a four pattern any time soon, so the two small scale squares--not counting the white wool--shouldn't restrict him too much. Especially if he ever ends up with a lot of regimentals (though ultimately, I think he's a solids man)

Honestly, I'm surprised Noodles hasn't already posted pics of his wedding.

I like the first, second and third not as much. They're a little too much like ties. On the subject of gauzy grey-white wools, I like this one from Vanda:
