Nick. Dont buy Diamonds from online.
You just have to see it in person.
You must see it in person.
    Size or quality?
I sacrificed on size for quality and I am glad I did. The one i got sparkles even in the dark. What is the point of having a rock that is big an yet lacks brilliance?
    Price?
If you cannot afford it then dont take out a loan to buy it. I considered getting something with a loan but that just seemed unethical. Use another persons money to buy your to be wifes ring? Always spend within you budget.

    What does she want?
I didnt know and so I asked her straight up. You may not be able to do that.

    Tiffanys
Dont go there. I asked for a ring that was as similar ad the one I bought from Stitchie and it wAs somewhere three times the price. That maybe an exaggeration.

You turned down the shaped "semi-lasted" shoe trees from C&J? :fu: Those are better for keeping the shoes shape. They are deeper in the toebox, stretching the leather out nicely. They cost about $120 if you buy them separately. Those Alden numbers are probably about $35 max. You can also get a whole bunch of Woodlore cedar trees from the Jos A Bank sales for $10 each. :D

The whole cedar vs. hardwood debate is silly - http://www.styleforum.net/t/19986/help-me-choose-beech-vs-cedar-shoetrees/0_50#post_262715

Mistakes were made today. Rudal's tree choice may or may not have been one of them.

True. Fwiw rudals, generic cedar trees are for scrubs who can't afford lasted trees. You are not a scrub, get the lasted trees.
