The Sergants should go back. AS Exclusive line is ~700 right? Handgrade ~900? In that ranger I prefer their styling to Crockett.

Really though, for that last bracket it's hard to beat Vass. ~800 usually and towards the tops for quality, styling, and comfort.

Thinking about making this my black captoe. Do you guys like the last? It looks fairly handsome to me. I'm also considering the Meermin for my black cap bal.

Also, which of the following would be better/more versatile? I ask because I think they do about the same thing for me. Keep in mind I am planning on getting snuff suede bals from meermin as well at some point:

Seconded. Thanks for posting these, Clags. Good to see some options that aren't AE and up.

Clags, not only are you crazy, you are wrong. City suit and white shirt is way better with navy and white dots. You are now welcome to suck it. :)

I stopped wearing white shirts since coming to SF but I think a white shirt with navy blue tie with white pindots are fine. It looks more crisp.
I guess it all depends on what you want to do.
I always look at thing from a CBD point of view.
But you can never go wrong with a pale blue shirt.

    L2B,

A shade or two darker than second one and you're in business. Those are really too light to work easily with most pants.

Tits, throw up your own version!

like black shoes vw brown shoes, white shirts are not the most versatile shirt vs stripes and light blues, but there are times when they are 100% called for, and anything else would be wrong. and no i dont just mean with tuxedos.

Well, I am planning on getting these regardless:

Is there no room for a lighter suede shoe for summer action? I assumed either of those light shoes above would be great with chinos and and unstructured cotton jacket. Is my thinking off here?

With the first, they'll look like they're a part of the chino. The second isn't bad...just very limited. Limited isnt a good thing at this point. 8+ wearable shoes in staples they stop being limited and start being "niche". The Meermin captoes are nice, and that's probably as light as I'd get with suede.

i think those meermin suede cap toes will be excellent with khakis/chinos. mole suede gives more contrast, but the brighter lighter suede looks very nice and summery with khakis/chinos and as long as the pants are of a lighter color, or blue, they contrast is a-ok.

Awesome, thanks guys. They will likely both be kopped soon even though I realize the loafers aren't as versatile. Which cap toes are preferable, Meermin or Andrew Lock? I am leaning Meermin right now as if I am already placing an order I might as well combine for shipping savings. Thanks!

Can't speak to quality of either, of course, but aesthetically the Meermins win for sure. The stitching on the Locks just looks off to my eye. IMO, naturally.
