1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Well, neither do I, but you need something to go with your smoking jacket.

    Why would you assume that?

How else are you going to stage a successful fez party?

    1. The item you linked to is not a fez
    2. Why would I want to stage a fez party, successful or otherwise?
    3. I refer you to my original question.

These are the prices I pay for these items/brands (Faconnable, 7mankind, RL) at Marshall's, TJMax, Winners. Not sure I understand why they are so expensive in thrift store or why you are thrifting if you can get them pretty much at any TJMAXX/Marshalls

Step 1: Stage a successful fez party.
    Step 3: Profit

    Think about it.

One cannot find Allen Edmonds at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I have never seen Facconable in a TJ Maxx. Also, I wear unusual sizes, so there is less in my size than there would be in, say, medium.

Hello members, I need Your help. A member told me to ask my question here, so I will give a try.
I have a quite good job, I have to travel a lot, quite often. I have to visit customers, do quality meetings etc...I am 32 years old and now that I started to earn a little more money, I am thinking about fashion, to combine clothes to have that stylish elegant/casual look. But the problem is that don't know how/when/what.
So I am thinking about to make photos of the stuff I have, put it here and You give me some advice what to combine and how.

    Waiting for Your answers genlteman

Post your photos, but try not to post too many at a time.

Also, take a look at the WAYWRN thread for inspiration and ideas. Developing a sense of style is more than just getting a few reasonable jacket/trouser combinations. Stick around, learn, and have fun!

I know. I will post not too big sized pictures, and not a lot, in every post maybe 5 - starting with jackets, then with t-shirts, blazers, sweater, trousers and finally with shoes.
    I appropriate Your help.

That being said, a few pairs of gray wool trousers, a dark blue odd jacket, a navy suit and a mid-gray suit, some grenadine ties and white and light blue shirts (with collars long enough to rest under your jacket lapels) will take you a long way towards being well dressed and provide you a safe foundation from which to develop your style.

I don't know how much help we'll be with t-shirts though.

I am 6'5" and have broad shoulders relative to my waist. Accordingly, I have always thought that slim lapels and shorter jackets look awful on me, and am drawn to suits with generous lapels. I'm concerned that the lapels on this suit may be too broad -- what do you guys think?
