One thing that I can say with certainty is that the pictures on his website is different from the ACTUAL color. I would just ask him to send you a real photo. I wish it was much darker but it really could be darker.

I don't think anything is NOT allowed in this topic. But this trumps all of them. True thug Asian.

I figured there's no point in opening a new thread, so I hope you don't mind me highjacking this one… it's on topic;)

So I have this tie, I really like it but I'm having a tough time combining it. Any advice?

The tie is very forgiving when selecting a shirt. White, blue, pink, lavender or even a darkish red gingham check have worked (though a little busy, but ok when it's dark)… but I always feel that the royal blue looks off when paired with a suit.

I've found it to be ok with charcoal and perhaps light grey but don't like wearing it with navy.

Could this work with a white shirt… or perhaps cream shirt?

I'm happy to hear any suggestions, thank you

^ That tie is hideous IMO. Not my cup o' tea at all. I'd burn it. (Sorry for the non-constructive feedback. :embar:)

Dude, look at WAYWRN Pliny does those ties well. The blue in that tie makes it difficult for my eye but if you're not gonna burn it (v harsh and unnecessarily so) look at the pink in it to pair with browns/pinks in a PS.

That's close enough that I'd like to see it put together and worn. Give it a spin!

@luv2breformed
Can you summarize everything you noodled thus far in February? I think we've both gotten some great solid help from this thread.
Here's mine.

Here is what I have so far kopped with the help of everyone in this thread:

Plus a third "sale" tie that I am still waiting on feedback for. I am thinking potentially this guy:

Plus at least one more jacket if not 2 more here in a few days

Not to mention an EXTENSIVE amount of purging
