I'm concerned about whether cashmere would be too warm for Kauai in midsummer. Can any Hawaiians weigh in?

This has me thinking, what about $2000 Hanes Beefy-Ts -- each one is presented in a burlwood box with mother of pearl inlays, and the shirt is resting on rosemary sprigs? Because cardboard and bubble wrap are so gauche, you know?

...Actually, I think that could work. Nobody steal my idea, kay?

Actually I am more angry that it's apparently sold out in 3 sizes which means people are probably buying them.

Gents,a moment of your time please. Opinions on this as a suit? Blue flannel prince of wales with red over check.

My wardrobe contains no checks of any kind and it will be used in a business environment that is in the middle of the scale regarding conservatism.[IMG]

Thats gorgeous in my opinion. I think Zegna did something like that and I was so mad I didnt buy it. Depending on how prevalent that red check is will decide if you can wear it conservatively or not

@Spandexter , that's a good choice. Ony about one in fifty CBD playas would even pick that cloth as special, and the ones that do are probably the CEO.

It looks good. I'm a huge fan of subtle dark glen plaid.

Alright Noodlers, about to commission my first MTM jacket from Kent Wang. I chose cloth #26 (the mottled green) from Moon's Merino Lambswool book. 360g weight should be almost a nine-month cloth in my current climate.

As for makeup, I went with these options:

    Front: 3-roll-2 button, notch lapel
    Gorge height: Standard
    Structure: Standard full canvas
Lining: Half ($20) - Highly recommended if you will ever be in warm weather
    Lining fabric: Navy
    Piping: Dark grey
    Lapel size: Wide 4.25"
    Lapel facing: No
    Shoulder: Soft
    Side pockets: Patch
    Ticket pocket: No
    Flap size: No flap
    Chest pocket: Welted
    Vents: Double (side)
    Sleeve buttons: 3
    Sleeve buttons overlap: No (kissing)
    Cuff finishing: Working buttonholes
    Throat tab: No
    Phone pocket: No
    Pick stitching: Limited
    Buttons: Corozo dark brown
    Elbow patches: No

Would appreciate input from anyone, especially those who've worked with Kent before (@venividivicibj @New Shoes1 @Claghorn ).

NO PHONE POCKET? Gotta have it, you don't have to use it if you don't need it ya know.

Looks exciting though. I look forward to them huge lapels. Largest I've gone for with notch is 3.75. If you haven't I'd suggest asking for no belly (concave) if that's an option. I find large notch lapels with belly to look a bit weird.

Can't do the phone pocket if you get if half-lined. I've had a couple jackets with 4+ inch lapels and like the width. Don't think I can alter the belly/concavity of the lapels.

Is phone pocket the lower inner pocket? I thought it's the inner breast pocket (that's where I put my phone) but I realize what you mean. Okay all fine then.

I'm in this phase where I think a cloth like that with a patch chest pocket and matching patch waist pockets would look great.

It's a beautiful cloth and I love the choices you picked to style it.

That's the choice I'm vacillating over the most. Already have a green triple-patch, which is swaying me toward welt breast on this one, but it's tempting to go all-out patch.
