1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think both gun clubs are not right for Noodles at this point in time. I think he should stick to a high contrast look for now because it works easiest for his complexion. A warm look will take quite a bit more effort.

Even his user name is repetitive in the latest iteration...

@Cao Cao, I am on record liking the way those suits look on you, though I also have encouraged you to look at other cuts. I am surprised to see you considering adding more things in that cut to your wardrobe rather than looking at many other options. That said, the pattern is very nice and I think reasonably versatile (though less so than a proper navy blazer).

Also, no to the BB jacket.

Is there any chance this whole debacle is recorded somewhere nice and neat in its own thread?

Crap not sure if this is the right place to ask.

But i'm looking for nice brown boots for the winter. Any recommendations? Preferably under 700. ( not sure if I should offer any specifics, but just curious what everyone wears during the winter time)

Ah forgot to amswer that important question. Mainly jeans and khakis for now, possibly wool trousers but not suiting.

More likely jeans, so I figured a brown might be more versatile. Any brand suggestions for pebble with dainite?

Thanks all for chiming in. I will pass on all and just go for what has been recommended to me by many of you repeatedly, a simple solid navy sc.

Not on dainite, but scotch grain on a rubber sole, is J. Fitzpatrick's Holman boot. I bought a pair a few months back. Comfy, well made, under your budget (about 300 GBP?).
