    Interesting ^^

Clicking on the link and the second pic doesn't strike me as 'rust' at all. It just strikes me as Brown, even chocolate colour.

Maybe pics are not representative? Rust gren shouldn't be difficult to do but it seems impossible to find from the usual suspects. I have a rust neat/ copper neat though which i enjoy.

    ^ that's not rust.

Can't say that I've seen a rust swatch in grossa that matches the colour of the fina that most vendors carry.

Q: What is the general opinion on ticket pockets?

I know the history behind it but I think it draws unnecessary attention.

They are annoying but aren't anything that'll stop me from buying something RTW that fits. I wouldn't ever ask for them on something MTM or bespoke. I think for most people, it isn't something that bothers them.

So, today I discovered a new menswear shop here in Jakarta that finally sells some interesting brands instead of bling bling designer wear: Carmina, Drake's, LBM, Ring Jacket, Pantherella.
What's more, it's less than a 10 min. walk from our home. My wife is gonna hate me... [IMG]

To SF regulars, it may be 50-50 in fav of and against ticket pockets. To a random person walking down the street, I think he/she will think "what the heck is that?"

The reason why I am talking about ticket pockets in the first place is that the Washington has all the features that I am looking for except one: ticket pockets.

I'm not so sure about that, at least not here in Europe, where ticket pockets are quite usual. Also, I don't think random people walking down the streets look at what people are wearing, unless they A) wear something that looks nice or B) wear something outlandish (which, honestly, ticket pockets don't qualify as).

I wouldn't say they are that unusual.

Ticket pocket is the only outside pocket (apart from breast for a pocket sq) I use on my suit jackets

I agree. Here even OTR cheap single coats have ticket pockets sometimes. It is a very common thing.

I like them on odd jackets (if I'm not doing patch pockets) but do not like them on suits; I think of ticket pockets as being a "casual-izing" element. I am considering having some more causal suits made up in the near future, so that may lead to me trying out ticket pockets on those particular suits.
