1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Nice link. The “Shop” page is worth a look. “Kelly” collars, Raglan shirts, a lot of English history right there.

You can't actually (Foo tried). They won't let you get shell until second order.

Oh, that's right. I read that thread. I did want to see about getting a pair, but unfortunately they're closed when I'm in Paris in August.

Btw, if you're an actual student and not trolling, you're going to have to be ok with getting lots of comments from people about wearing ultra formal stuff. I didn't really wear much CBD in my college days, but I did wear more casual patch pocket jackets and OCBDs with knit ties, and I already stood out quite a bit at one of the most formal universities. You'd certainly be the odd one out if you're dressed CBD all day everyday.

Also, what are you going to do when you're dressed up in your 1000 shirt and 7000 suit and someone spills something on it at a party, which is bound to happen. Wear the stained suiff anyways or throw it out? Tell someone he/she ruined your 1k shirt?

So, just be aware of the context and have a think about whether you're ok with those downsides.

While the point holds regardless, I had assumed he was not a university/college aged student. You know what happens when you assume, of course....

Postgrad/bschool is pretty much the same for most courses. Unless you live off campus and never interact socially with your fellow students of course.

I have a decent troll radar and it never went off so I will be really amused if this is trolling.

Apropos of nothing beyond my current mood, I have to say that the older I get the more I think of the Dean as the true hero of Animal House.

    Carry on.

All I can say is that I sincerely hope the $1000 shirts and $7000 suits are the fruits of one's hard earned wealth.

I can only speak for myself, but it would be truly off putting to approach purchases of high cost with such a cavalier attitude...especially when it's really someone else's scratch.
