My daily intake is about thus:

    12oz quad latte - ~150 cals
(Maybe) 20oz coke in the afternoon - 210
Some sort of dinner - 500-800 calories
(Maybe) Milk and cookies while watching TV with my wife before bed - ~500

That's a range of about 900-1700. My estimate is not too far off. Thinking about it, it's probably closer to the 1300-1500 range, usually.

^ If you are wearing a tuxedo, I hope your wedding is after 6:00PM (or at least something like 5:00PM). If you want a helpful reference source, try www.blacktieguide.com. Basics are one button peak or shawl lapel jacket with either satin or grosgrain on the lapels (matching satin or grosgrain line on trouser legs), a proper waistcoat (not one of the ones that is clearly visible under your jacket) or cummerbund, bow tie you tie yourself and a white tuxedo shirt (pleated or Marcella front) with studs (ideally 3) and cufflinks. Black oxfords highly shined (preferably plain toe) will do if you do not want to buy patent leather shoes.

All of these are no, though I'll admit that the Tom Ford looks good on Daniel Craig. Have you talked to the guys at nSuited? You're the right size that they may be able to hook you up with something, depending upon what range you're looking at.

My wedding will be at noon on a Saturday. I am ticked off that I have to land, go to the wedding shop, and try on some tux that I've never seen before. I told her I want to wear one of my good fitting suits. If they're bad fitting right now, then I can just go to a good tailor and get a good fitting suit. I told her I prefer this than some cheap@ss rental tux. Your thoughts?!

The potential to look somewhere between awful and mediocre in a rented tux, especially when you have no idea beforehand of their clothes fit and may not even know if they carry things that are correctly styled, is very high. A tuxedo also should never be worn to a noon wedding. All of this suggests that you will be much better off in a well-fitted suit that you will be comfortable with by the time of your wedding. Depending on how strongly your fiancée feels about this point, can you find out if the formalwear rental place carries daytime formalwear (either a stroller or morning coat)? An ill-fitted one of these won't look a ton better most likely, but it will at least be correct for the time of day of your wedding.

The above paragraph is the sartorial advice. Only you can know (1) whether you can win this argument and (2) whether it is worth it. Your wedding photos will look better over time if you are not wandering around in a tuxedo during bright daylight and will probably also look better if your clothes fit and you are comfortable in them.

Blue on that SuitSupply tuxedo seems a bit light to me (it should be a midnight or just go with black). Nonetheless, if SuitSupply fits you, $800 for most of the rig is a pretty decent deal (they have a black peak lapel tux for the same price).

I wonder if this will do?

I have no desire to purchase a tux that looks like that. I think I am just going to wear one of my suits.

^ If you are going with a suit, that is pretty much the way to do it. Navy suit, white shirt, silver / grey tie (consider picking out a wedding tie if you don't have one), but I'd say in terms of the combination, you've basically nailed it.

    Oh, and black shoes.

You the man. I will show your comment and others to my fiance and tell her to shut up.

Didn't see the spoiler, agree with sugar, stick by it.

Sorry Doodals, I asked the question about the date for other reasons than have been explored here. More importantly it is clear that you are hugely able to make sophisticated choices and need no lead, more power to you my friend :nodding:
