I have 2 RLBL cap toe derbies.
I think the pix are couple pages back.
    Clag introduced me to Cordovans.
Didnt know they killed horses to make shoes.

I'm sure this is not the end of it.
My tuppys: You'll need at least 2 suits, navy and grey (charcoal), black oxford caps and dark brown oxfords. One reason, you don't want to look the same in every pic. Secondly, your suits, shoes need a rest. Wearing any of them for days in a row isn't a good idea, also impression-wise.

Little anekdote reg age: Friends of the family had (still have, but past tense for dramatical purposes) ... had a daughter. She looked like Heidi Klum only much better, objectively. She was 16, I was 15, I had some crush on her. She married (@16) someone age 34. As far as I know, no one below age ~25 was invited...
Morale: It sucked to be too young to kop the girl.
Not a problem any more (divorced). But now it's probably the other way round. ;D

Thanks. C&J's Marlow is another solid choice for a brown shell shortwing.

    34 and 16???
I don't think I want to check out high school girls.
I wonder if I should just stick with modern looking suits. It's hard nowadays to find traditional suits. Everything is becoming...feminine IMO.

The problem is that modern looking suits look dated very quickly. More classic looks age much more slowly.

If you weren't spending $$$ for quality construction and durability, it wouldn't be a big deal as the suits probably wouldn't last long enough to become dated. But if you're buying something built to last, considering how it'll age as a look is worthwhile.

It's kind of hard nowadays with everyone selling suits with narrower lapels and waist. Then the rest are just boxy. I will be in Korea in April for the wedding. Let's see if we can catch up for shots...errr....just a beer.

Lets go back to that freaking Johnny Walker store, get a Blue, and break it in front of them just to show them that we're VVVVVVVVVIP worthy.

I've always thut looking good cost a lot.

Btw, how do I smuggle my fiance into the States?

Buy fabric, go MTM/bespoke. Solves that problem.

That requires you to know what you want, something which Rudals does not have at the moment. Nothing wrong with that, you'll get that over time.

Well, it depends. If he sees a lot of Field's work and likes what he sees, I don't think there is any problem with Rudals going up and just saying "I want a gray suit in this fabric and you do whatever you think is best."
