    Don't forget about Epaulet, Noodles. Great customer service and same quality of pants (same maker for USA cut). Walt and Rudy cuts are similar to HY Italian and USA.

    Good point. I actually find the Walts to not fit as well as the HY USA but there is some similarity--they are made in the same factory. It's the seat/thigh junction that is the problem: I really like clean lines, and I don't get them with the Walts. But this will vary from person to person.

    The thing about Epaulet: you can return the pants if you don't like them (via SF). So, you might start there before HY.

    Never tried but have heard and seen amazing stuff from them. Great idea.


    Also superb idea, but again you have to be sure with the measurements. Their cuts are not for all.

    Noodlers: This tie. I like it in principle but it seems neither fish nor fowl in terms of pairings, or that it would take an advanced dresser to bring out its potential.

    Could it be worn with country jackets (brown, olive, green flannels and tweeds)?
