Came home to a little brown box today with two ties in it.. Thanks @Claghorn for the deal!

Sportcoat is new from KW. Wore it for the second time today.

Wool SC with Cashmere 7-fold Panta (first pic) and Sam Hober Grenadine (yeah, I own one).

New goal for this winter: wear the 7-fold... twice.

Not sure why there's more shock surrounding the Hober than the Panta. Both are good but 7-fold cashmere. Waaattt.

It was purely a "want it just to have it" purchase.

It's the unofficial SF club tie.

    Meh.

Grey. Yeahhhhhh!!! That should be the unofficial club tie. Grey 6/7-fold anything.

It's a nice looking tie no doubt, but I think it's been circulated so many times on this forum that most if us are starting to think it's been played out.

You, sir, are undoubtedly confused. The tie is awesome. Has it been seen a bunch on this forum? Yes. Does it lose its awesomesauce because of that? Absolutely not.

This is fantastic. Something about the texture of the grenadine within the stripes gives me some sort of visual euphoria. There is something pleasing about that tie against the smooth-textured sport coat.

He actually wanted the sage linen Hober. But I sent him what he needed.

    Yup.

    Ok then!

I tired to trade with Clags, but could not part with anything worthy of the Hober.

Hober SF club tie is awesome. I don't reach for it often (and I seldom reach for striped ties), but every time I do I am glad it is in my collection.
