1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

And thus begins Rudals descent into eBay. A word to the wise, Rudals. You saw my collection of terrible from earlier? The result of eBay. Don't get me wrong, most of my good stuff is from there too, but be VERY judicious.

Do you KNOW your measurements for SURE? Don't go into any auction without them. Have fun, sir. :p

It is true. You should monitor how it moves until the deadline.

This. Measure a suit that fits you well and bid.

I was trying to sign in so that I can place my bid and realized that I was putting my Amazon.com login info and that I don't have an eBay account! [IMG]
I won't start going eBay but I guess this one looks good.
If this person bought it at full retail, I wonder how he could put it up for sale for so little.

Thanks, Cleav. Hope things are okay after the unfortunate event.
What beer? I hadn't had a beer for ages and...I caved in.

    @Cleav

Sorry, did something unfortunate happen? If so, ditto on Rudal's good wishes.

Mrs. Noodle has established a clear ground rule against drinking so thought I let it all out before I go AWAL. I think she might be a Quaker or something. No alcohol.
She said it with this face too...

    Do it.

You can set up a “watch” which will e-mail you whenever an item is listed which meets your search criteria (say, “Hober tie”). From that point it becomes a purely mechanical process. You’ll never need to spend time on the site except to buy or bid on something the system has already found for you.

    Cheers,

    Ac

Let's get this back on track, fellas. I have purged shirts, ties, and squares. Got some good feedback on the shirt purging. Not so much on the tie and square purging, so I am going to assume I did a fair job in those arenas (anyone with feedback is still very much welcomed). I have begun to kop shoes and have a list to work on, plus we have had a fairly good shoe discussion.

Let's move on to kopping shirts. I was told when I started that shirts were my weakest link. What I have post-purge is as follows:

Plus the navy candy stripe and tattersall as follows (note that the light blue multi-stripe has been purged):

So, where do I go next? I feel like I have several shirts to be worn with my suits when needed, but very few "country" shirts that can go with my common tweed/cord ensembles. I need some stuff to match the rustic nature of my incoming pebble derbies IMO. The ocbd's pictured are BB recent and have poor collar roll with a tie, so I think I would at least like to kop 1 light blue ocbd w/ good ROLLLL (Any recommendations? Kamakura?). What else do I NEED?
