It was awesome. Best portrayal of relativity, time dilation, etc. in a Hollywood movie ever. The visuals of the black hole were amazing. Some individual frames took over a 100 hours to render and the total visuals combined were over 800 terabytes. It's the most accurate render of a black hole ever, and they're publishing papers based on it. I find it funny when people say the visuals sucked or the physics are inaccurate when Kip Thorne, 30 others and thousands of computers worked on just the black hole for over a year.

I'd watch it again just for the special effects alone.

Special effects and physics engines does not a movie make. It's funny, all my scientist friends rave about this movie and all my artsy friends disliked it. I'm looking forward to watching it myself.

Glad you enjoyed it, MF. I'd probably watch it again for the special effects too. This would, however, require fast-forwarding through about 800 tera-hours of appalling dialogue and sentimentalist nonsense.

Ask and ye shall receive. @TweedyProf

The B&B has very soft grenadine material. It's a 50/50 silk-wool blend. I believe the wool gives it this very soft hand. It feels a lot less "dry" than my Hober and Cappelli grens.

As for the quality of the construction of the B&B, I will have to study it later. I just took it out of the box and photographed. The issue I see with it is that the shaped of the tie is uneven, especially towards the button.

Also been needing a blue/green stripe regimental.

That B&B tie looks terribly out of shape... :(

Is that a pull there as well? I'd return it if I were you, jrd...

@jrd617 , I'd send Matthias an email. He was quite nice by email. Show him a few of the pics or link him here. I'm sure he'll straighten this out. There does look to be a pull and other problems.

My two Conrad Wu's are also asymmetrical at the tip. I've learned to live with them as part of the charm, but in your case, there are other more serious issues.
