Any stores that are recommended?

How about GAP? H&M? Winners? Brooks Brothers? Banana Republic?

What are some good stores at the mall that are worth shopping at? Buying all my clothes online can be frustrating if the item doesn't fit right.

Not really man, American malls are cesspools of trendy wackness and fast fashion. J Crew sometimes has **** worth looking at.

I dont promote mall shopping at all, but if you must here's my $0.02,

Gap: best used for bottom layer basics/PJ's, some 100% merino wool sweaters are decent, never buy anything at full retail, always purchase at least w/40% wednesdays coupons.

H&M: mostly garbage aside form the black label slim fit dress shirts, nice fit, decent quality, nice patterns/colors and only 50 at full retail price.

Winners: I rarely pop into this place but once in a while you'll find a good deal, they've recently added some designer **** but not really anything worthwhile, come to think of it I hate this place man, I think I've only ever bought a couple of dress shirts and thats it vs the countless hours I probably spent in there scouring through the piles of crap, never again!

BB: I dont frequent this shop, only bought 2 suits on sale, nice suits though.

BR: has gone downhill for awhile imo, Club Monaco is a far better alternative nowadays.

CM: some good mid-tier **** in here, nice fits, retail is high and not worth it on most items but gets more reasonable on sale.

In toronto theres always better options, though at higher retail, at shops like nomad, j+o, tnt, uncle otis, sydneys or even hr.

in all seriousness, toronto has some great shopping. i could see if you lived in some lackluster town that ONLY had mall shops, but you don't.

it is unbeliavable how your opinion and subsequent enthusiasm of winners changes after just a few months on the forums.

H&M: No.

Winners: No. Big no actually.

Banana Republic: Mostly a no. With a 40% coupon some of the things could be decent.

Club Monaco: Good for basics. Recommended.

Brooks Brothers: Good especially if you're just starting your first office job etc.

I pop into Macy's for some basics. Nordstrom rack has yielded cheap bits.

Winners - Depends on what you are looking for. I bought cheap gloves from there. I"m happy.

Banana Republic - I'd ONLY shop there if they had there sales on, otherwise it's overpriced for the quality.

CM - I find it's better quality than BR, but again would you buy when they have a sale. This store is actually one of my fav mall brand store.

Zara - Decent clothes for decent prices. I have dress pants for work, they are okay. Nothing special.
