I can't wait to hear the new Animal Collective; what I've heard so far is very, very good.

I wouldn't consider a lot of these experimental... but I guess its a subjective term anyway

but IMO experimental would be stuff like

animal collective
gang gang dance
the durutti column

I thoroughly enjoy "Ladytron," particularly their earlier albums; "604" and "Light & Magic."
