    For my fellow foodies:

If you're in the market for a good mixer at a good price, you could be in luck if you live near a Tuesday Morning discount store. The chain received a large shipment of Kitchen-Aid Pro 5 mixers, in a variety of colors, and the one I visited is offering them at only $199.99. This is a great deal -- the Pro 5 is near the top end of Kitchen-Aid's mixer offerings, offering all-steel gears, a 450-watt motor and a large-capacity bowl. Retail is $400 or so. I've never seen this model priced so low. Amazon offers remanufactured versions at $200!

Curiously, the Tuesday Morning store I visited also had a smaller, much less impressive Kitchen-Aid model priced the same as its swankier cousin.

I hope I'm not spreading the word too late. There seems to be a ton of these mixers on eBay at the moment, with most going for slightly more than $200.

I prefer the non-pro version, but that's a great deal nevertheless.
