Gotta a good deal at J. Crew today. Their cashmere is very good quality as it is a Loro Piana yarn knitted in Hong Kong. Super soft and new merchandise. They had dark blue, grey, light blue and one other color that escapes me.

Men's V Neck sweaters are $168 selling in Atlanta for $100 and then 25% off that so with tax I paid $80 and change. Sort of silly buying cashmere now but this is a good advance purchase I think...check it out!

Where exactly are they $50 online? This is new Fall merchandise.

At least I know my size now.

Also hot pink cable knit for $79.99

Actually, I like the persimmon. I like pink too, for that matter.

I ordered from J Crew during this sale, got a ton of sandals and that sort of stuff. A couple of belts. They were nice!

The $50 sweaters are the four-season cashmere, which is very thin and not nearly as insulating. Don't get me wrong, I have one and like it, but I can't imagine it's going to last much longer than one or two seasons before looking ratty and getting relegated to home wear only.

The $80 sweaters are nicer, but not all that much nicer. Unless you're after a very basic sweater that is hard to find on discount, I think you can do better than J.Crew cashmere.

Actually I have checked out quite a bit of cashmere and the J. Crew quality is very high. Hard to beat Loro Piana for yarn quality.

The best cashmere comes from Scotland.

I agree but for the price I think the J. Crew is a good value relative to quality...maybe I'm wrong...the proof will be how it wears this winter.

It's woven in Scotland. All cashmere comes from Asia.
