I really like the safari jacket look, or the look of a nice cotton jacket with a few pockets on the front.

I like these Eddie Bauer jackets but I generally am not impressed with wearing Eddie Bauer clothes. Does anyone know of a jacket similar to these made by a better company? I dont need the full on safari jacket look, I mostly just want a nice well fitted cotton jacket with some pockets in the front thats a tan color. I recently purchased a jacket off Gilt by Adam Kimmel (whoever that is) that I thought would fit this bill. I received it yesterday and the 4 front pockets on it are just for decoration, no actual pocket there. Also the jacket feels cheaply made, a horrible purchase all around.

Thanks, Im going to bid for it. Any other similar jackets that are maybe less like a traditional military or safari jacket? I guess what I want is just a well fitted cotton jacket with that has the safari feel to it but not the full on look. Hard to explain really.

Nah, don't get that jacket. You'll get more millage by sporting a slightly disheveled look in a vintage Ford Explorer "Eddie Bauer Edition". Chicks dig it and you will not look ****.

The truck doesn't look nearly as baggy as the rest of the Eddie Bauer menswear!

I'd suggest avoiding any type of clothing that comes in "BIG and TALL" sizes up to 5XL.
