What are some good cord blazers or brands that make them? I'm trying to get a chocolate brown one, found a couple in stores that looked ok but I'd like some more options to chose from.

RL has been unloading cord blazers to Marshalls and similar stores in my area. I've seen blue and green label out there.

Didn't really look at them, so I can't comment on how good they are - just a tip

I have the Polo (blue label) Stamford (Stanford?) blazer (retail 225), which is a very casual version made in Macau, and I wish I would have sprung for the Made in Italy version or even a purple label on sale. The Stamford is sized S-M-L, has long sleeves and working buttonholes. It doesn't fit me well enough, and has thick wale that ends up being too casual. I suspect it is this model, and another similar model that has a throat latch that are being blown out on sale. They are often available for very little on ebay.

I picked up the Purple Label one last year on ebay for $400 i think, from polosphere. The one with all the pockets and throat latch, its pretty nice. This years was a bit more popular with the hacking pockets so i doubt there will be many on ebay.

I"m going to the Barney's Warehouse sale next month and I"m hoping to find a nice Cordoruy blazer with patched elbows. I did find and bought a pair of chocolate brown corduroy pants by Martin Margiela, which I bought on sale at Douglas Fir.

There are some Trovata corduroy blazers on sale at Barney's Coop at SCP currently. They are 40% off the sale price (final markdown) I bought a Rag and Bone blazer there yesterday for $130.

Checked out the Zara, didn't have anything there, but I did find a suit with real-fake buttons on the cuffs - 2 buttons on each sleeve were undone, but the buttonholes that were stitched on were non-functional. At the rate they pay children to put clothes together for them in sweatshops, you'd think they could handle making the holes functional.
