Hi guys,

Serious question - what colors would look good for a guy with darker skin - I'm light tan, is the best describe it. I'd like to get away with some pinks, yellows, etc., but think that colors such as the burnt orange Banana Republic shirt below wouldn't work too well on me.

Any hints or basic guidelines?

I've always thought that folks with darker complexions look good in mostly any color except some earth tones.

If you feel good about yourself, you can look good in any color. I'm also a person with a "permanent" tan.

There's not much help to give without a picture, to see your personal coloring. Put it this way - if you hair is much darker than your tanned skin, you probably can wear most colors.
