While this is not an essential purchase for me anytime soon, I have been looking for a very cool light gray (dove gray?) waistcoat to wear with my dark gray suit. Does anyone know of any good brands that sell them, or should I save up and just splurge on something custom? If all else fails, then I have some nearby thrift stores I guess.

Cordings has several. I don't see dove gray. I have no experience w/
their clothing other than a couple of "country shirts" in brushed cotton
that are very well made for the (low) price.

Would expect Ede & Ravenscroft to have something like this since it'd be appropriate for a morning waistcoat.
