Gomorra - Anyone see this movie yet?

The movie must be playing somewhere in NYC (my coworker lives UES)... i will check it out this weekend.

Was the book good? Maybe I will go to Barnes/Noble tonight and take a look. Unless the book is in Italian... then i am out of luck.

Si - non parlo Italiano. Book's in English (and is pretty bleak)....

the book is not just in italian it has various dialects as well. which makes me wonder how one can understadn the dialogue in the film.

I had a lot of problems understanding the film...needed the subs.

Looks like there is an English translation. Amazon has it for $10.

Agreed. I've read tons of mob books but the tone of this book was so harsh/stark. Almost made your stomach turn at how violent/despicable these people are.
