What would you consider to be the perfect measurements for a 6'1" guy? What are the ideal body measurements from a sartorial point of view?

Incredibly sordid, but no, diameter. Please do not derail OP's thread, it's his first post.

Its a silly question: from a sartorial point of view, a reputable tailor can fashion a good quality suit to fit your body well, regardless of your measurements, up to a point. And that point is mostly around the 300 lb mark. Here's a link to Esquires article on suit fit and terms. These points are also reiterated here in the pinned articles. It is important to realize certain suit styles and labels are made to fit certain body types. I would suggest trying on as many different suits as you can until you find a couple of labels that fit you well. But honestly, suiting is tailorable enough where their is no sartorial equivalent to phi. And actually, I have pretty close to grecian-ideal body measurements (43 chest, 31[30 would be ideal] waist, 37 hips) and it is practically impossible to find a RTW suit: everything I get requires significant tailoring. So from that sartorial stand point, having the ideal isn't ideal.

Actually, it's not too crazy a question. I am also 6'1" and weight 200 lbs. Jacket is a 42 R, 34W, and size 10.5 shoe (9.5 UK Edward Green). I'm always wondering if I'm a fat ass, or if my shoes size is normal.
'Sup with you bro? - give us some measurements and BTW - welcome to SF (if you're not a spammer, that is). Cheers.

My ideal measurements are 36"-24"-36". I don't think it has anything to do with my height, though.
