Note: Sorry for the double thread I posted this in classic menswear as well as I am looking for clothing that applies in both cases.

Im heading to Toronto to see my girlfriend for the week. Im not familiar with the area as she just started University there and im from out of province. The area I live in is difficult to find quality clothing as it is not a major metropolitan center.

I have outgrown the whole Hollister/Abercrombie stage some of us may have gone through and am looking to upgrade my wardrobe while in the city. I enjoy the preppy New England/East Coast look however. Does anyone have any suggestions for great stores to pick up some reasonably priced, quality clothing in this particular style?

I am:
Sex: Male
Age: 24
Height: 6ft
Weight: 172lb (dont like slim fits)

Iv seen some sweaters iv liked on the J.Crew website for example however I am wary to order anything without getting an idea from a retail outlet of how the clothing from a particular brand tends to fit.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys

No shop recommendations but make sure you eat at Mother's Dumplings on Spedina while you are there. I still have dreams about their pork and dill dumplings.
