Going to bed with product in your hair?

I used to use this alcohol based stuff and it wasn't "wet" so I could just go to bed with it. My stylist recently recommended another thing that's more waxy and stays a little sticky when on the hair. It looks great, but I wonder, do you guys go to bed with stuff like this on, or wash it out first? Seems like a PITA if so...

It is a pain *********** but it depends on what product you have and your hair.
Limp "English" hair will be less affected by it, but if you have coarse mediterrannean hair like myself it wil be a nightmare next morning trying to get it to work right again. You'll need to wash it out.
Now if you have seriously curly or central african type hair, you may be able to get away with it but don't quote me on that...
I am certain we have people hre whose hair runs the gamut of types and lengths so maybe if you give us an idea someone may help you more...

It's a good way to have your face breakout. You don't want to sleep on a pillowcase full of hair product. I'd highly recommend against this. In fact, I highly recommend everyone shower before bed. Don't sleep in filth.

If I use a hair product, it's a pomade made by American Crew. It's fairly waxy and holds up well. The nice part is, it washes out easily at the end of the day. I usually do a quick rinse/dry and go to bed, unless I get completely trashed and forget.
