My band is going on tour in a couple months and I was looking to get some new clothes to take with me. I have a couple pair of jeans I like but was thinking I'd get a pair of skinners and try to bream em in a little before we head out. I don't really have enough time to break in a pair of nudie's but probably will post-tour. I also need some relatively inexpensive slim fitting t-shirts and hoodies. I'm 6'0'', 170 lbs, and I work out. For t-shirts, I don't mind if they have graphics on them but I find all of that Affliction stuff pretty lame, and am also not looking for any text on the shirt at all. I have a black thermal AA hoodie in large that I like a lot. It was a little long at first but shrank up considerably after I dried it once and is pretty much the perfect length currently. It's still a little baggy in the chest, though so I'm thinking maybe I should go medium? I've heard bad things about their lengths though. As far as sneakers go, I have a pair of suede ligas that have absolutely been destroyed. Loved 'em but I'm ready for something new and maybe a little hipper to show off on stage. I'm covered for all outerwear/blazers. I have a sick black down jacket with a bomberesque collar, cord jacket, awesome fitting army green cotton blazer, green velvet blazer, black wool blazer. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

basics: american apparel, alternative apparel, uniqlo, h&m

sneakers: chucks, purcelss, vans slips, nike dunks

Those should do for cheap but suited hip for band play. If you're 6ft. 170, you should be able to fit in a medium american apparel. I'd just go there and buy tshirts, hoodies, henleys(short sleeve henleys are cool for a different look) and other stuff. You can buy nudies or apcs in a washed state if you wanted something besides skinners. Plus, what's wrong with getting raw jeans? Tshirt, hoodie, dark jeans and chucks are about as rock and roll as i can think.

no h&m in ******* North Carolina. anywhere I can get uniqlo stuff online? I was looking for something a little more uncommon than converse/vans. We're a metal band. Yeah I may just go for it and get apc new standards I've wanted a pair for months anyhow. I'm liking the thin as **** fit on the skinners though too. Might get both and cycle out my deteriorating practically hemless zathans. Small or medium in AA t shirts you think?

you really should try and break in the nudies. You should see mcflip's SDA 103's after he went on tour. I forgot how much touring takes it's toll on everything...you'll jeans will be butter afterwards

Most important of all: stock up on clean undies, especially if you plan on getting groupie tang.

You should crosspost pics of your NS on your bands' MySpace or whatever every week.

If you want a thin as **** fit more so than the skinners(they're bootleg so not that skinny) get a pair of apc new cures. Size down 2 and you'll have thin as **** jeans. I tried them on and while i could button them up, they were a bit too tight for my non-rockstar life. Can't by uniqlo online. I'd just say ******* and get american apparel or alternative apparel. Probably american because you can try it on in stores or order cheap from wholesalers in the buy and sell forum. I'd get medium in AA shirts and then wash them before wearing. It'll shrink and probably fit you better if you're in between sizes. I'm in between small and medium and usually wash a medium. Nike dunks would work as a converse/vans alternative. Or simple nike blazers. There are other vans besides the normal authentics too. Get a pair of slip ons or chukkas or one of their other models.

Medium definitely in AA, maybe stay with large and dry hot. I'm 6'1" 160 lbs and medium is a perfect fit on me, though sometimes a bit short.

just grabbed size 29 apc new standards. pretty stoked to break em in. yeah I think I'll snag a white AA hoodie and maybe a gray or green. I have the black/heather thermal in large. What are the length differences between cali fleece, cali thermal-lined, and flex fleece? I want to get a medium but need it to be long enough after I've washed it. I'll grab a white and a black v neck too and a henley.

the cali thermal hoodies have thermal lining to be warmer. The Flex fleece ones are made of a different material that is sort of stretchy, but the hoodie fits slimmer than the other ones. I really like the flex fleece i have now. The medium flex fleece i have now fits perfectly width and length wise after wash and i'm 6ft, so i'd go with medium. Definitely grab a short sleeve henley while you're at it. I'm going to buy a couple this year from somewhere for hte summer months.
