ok so on leaving high school i was accepted into the university of my choice, but decided to take a gap year, which turned into 2, meaning my place lapsed. i then started work in financial services, and have over the last couple of years completed enough non tertiary study (as well as at the same time gaining industry experience) to have moved up to being a financial planner in our small firm.

i am now thinking of undertaking study for a bachelor degree on a part time basis. does anyone here have any experience of working full time as well as undertaking this type of study? any insights or info would be appreciated!

Is the degree going to benefit you? Like help you advance your career or something along those lines. If not, why bother?

Unless, of course, you're doing it for the accomplishment/interest.

Get your degree! Having that piece of paper is very important.

+ 1. Its the piece for paper that really counts, sadly. Also, it will be a good way to make some new friends and try some new things. Although, I should probably warn you, its not easy to work full time and study part time or vice versa. Time management is key. Good luck.
