After much research, I usually settle on a brand or two that works for me in terms of fit, style, quality, etc. for a particular article of clothing. I also rule out certain brands.
For example, I like slim-cut suits. Hickey and John Varvatos suits fit me very well, but RLBL suits are usually cut too broad in the shoulders (38R chest).
Certain brands aren't created equal for every article that they make. For example, the sizing on Varvatos shirts is always whacked for me.
So what are everyone's "go-to" brands, if there are any?
