GJ Cleverley Pigskin Leather?

Love the look of the pigskin models they have on their bespoke gallery. Anyone ever use pigskin for bespoke shoes? Is it used primarily for casuals, or can one get a balmoral made up with pigskin as well?

As always, any pics would be appreciated.

i find they wear very simular to shell cordovan but they hold their shine much better, i would consider another pair in pig skin i love the black derby that G&G have as a BS sample

i like the pig skins alot, i know on the cleverley site they have some qtr brogues

i think it is much better to use skin with natural grain than enbosed calf depending on the embose of course

i think ed hayes did some wholecuts in pig skin too again with G&G

Do they take a shine as well as regular ol' calfskin?

almost as good as regular calf, as mine are derby's i wont mirror shine them like i would oxfords, but they hold their shine so much better than shell
