Well, everyone is built differently, but I still prefer higher armholes.

Chip-
What size are you in the vintage? Did you find you were the same size in the slimline?

I personally am a huge fan of Gitman Vintage and the sizing works great for me so far (all size smalls across the board). I own the white and blue oxfords and the fabric and the collar are stupendous on those. I also own two plaid shirts and like those as well. Tough oxford fabric with a nice weight that can take good abuse. No need to baby these beauties with the buttons or with care really. The additional button on the back collar is also great for going sans tie, which I typically do on most work days. The flare on the bottom doesn't bother me all too much as it isn't pronounced when I wear it and I'm not that OCD. Plus, I typically wear them tucked to work and their a stellar fit. I've posted some in this thread for reference.

Those who are unhappy with the fit of your smalls and want to clean your closet of them for a bargain price can look my way. I love this line.

I dig higher arm holes as well (i.e. Thom Browne) but the gitman vintage are way too short/blousy at the bottom for me (I am 6'1") from the chest up they look great but at the bottom all the shirts I have tried/seen bell out at the bottom, I prefer Thom Browne and BoO, I look forward to trying these new 'slim fit' gitman tho

I don't see this blousiness. For the record though, I am 6' 190 lbs. and a medium fits me perfectly, form-fitting from the shoulders to the waist. Chubbiness working in my favor!

If my shirts tend to measure 19.5 pit to pit what size do you suggest in the vintage?

Garmis- Do you only have the oxfords? I have a couple of the plaids and I am having a hard time picturing you properly fitting in a medium. I'm a medium and I know I'm a size smaller than you (5-10/160,) although I admittedly don't like a fit as slim as most on here.
