Why do people constantly reference BOO to compare fits against?

Jesus, that shit is ridiculous. Are they the only brand that has a good fit?

No one knows how to sew fabric or adapt clothes to fit a human body except Band of Outsiders. their designs in shirts featuring buttons and collars are revolutionary. J. Crew also makes a groundbreaking shirt which can be tailored to be BoO. No other shirt on earth can be cut and re fasioned in such a manner.

Wouldn't an inside joke have to be NOT glaringly obvious?

It's only glaringly obvious for the cool kids on the inside. Believe it or not, even though not a single one of those posts was serious, this thread will now probably verge into an extended debated about the construction and quality of BoO of shirts and by page 10 someone will suggest in earnest that someone should try altering a J. Crew shirt in some manner.

honestly, as much as I like band of outsiders, it really bugs me that they can't sew their fucking buttons on right.

when I buy a $200 shirt I expect the buttons to stay on just as well as my $10 wal mart ones ..

the buttons are coming off of most of my Band shirts and it's driving me bananas.

Seems like this round of Gitman plaids are a big deal or something? I cannot find a long sleeve in size small anywhere.

fuel to the fire: BoO are overrated, and looks rather silly on most people, shruken, tiny midgetwear.

Whats with the super short body? why not just tuck if you want a short/neat look?
Imo, a longer body looks better untucked aswell, alá Take Ivy, alot more relaxed and "carefree".

Bobo- Seriously, man. Let it go. You're also like 8ft tall so it'll never look anything but crazy on you. At 6ft, they fit me perfect untucked much better than any other off the rack shirt i've tried even high end stuff i can't afford. Take Ivy wear is overrated. Not everyone wants to look like that so to act like their style is the be all end all is ridiculous. You have a very distinct look you go for, bobo, and any poster who has been on a forum with you for a period of time could tell right away that BoO stuff is obviously not for you. There are a lot of brands that while i like on some people or myself, i'd never picture you wearing.
