^ if thats the same one they had at Acrimony....it'll be hard to describe the color. I saw it in person, and it's a greenish greyish slate :tounge:

Not sure if you realize this, but while you have been hesitant to wash your shirt, you've actually done more damage/increased the risk the stains and dirt/sweat will ruin the shirt. Doesn't it smell bad? Did you really not think to wash it when the white was turning to a "white-ish" color? I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just confused why you would not want to wash it? You really shouldn't have much if any shrinkage if you wash it, and I would just hang dry it. The dishtowel shirt is fairly thin, so I don't think you need to tumble dry it. Might seem a little wrinkled when you hang it and it drys, but shortly after stepping outside those should disappear, or you could always iron it, but I wouldn't.

Whatever you do at this point, don't dryclean it. It needs water and detergant, I would say use tide with bleach alternative (liquid), warm water, and I would do two rinses (normally the machine just does one) to make sure you get out all the detergant.

But in the future, don't let your shirts that are white turn to off white, that is not a good way to gauge when to wash them.

Is it already sold out in S, or did it never come in that size in the first place?

They seem to do that with a lot of their oxfords—slates with a colored cast. I feel like if I own one or two of them, I'm all set and don't need any of these other takes on pretty much the same thing.

They do the same thing with the chambrays to good effect, especially since chambray can have a bit of a shimmer.

^ whats confusing is that it is listed as a "chambray oxford"...

@KG....most likely the small sold out. Rather quickly too, as I'm pretty sure today was the first day those went online.

Ended up buying this shirt last night. The picture is one representation of the color....it really changes depending upon the lighting. In store it seems a little more grey than green, but in daylight the green comes through a little more. Really an interesting color which is one reason I decided to pick it up. I was talking with the guys in the shop and they said they had a tough time photographing it and picking a lighting setup that really showed it faithfully. I think their pictures are pretty accurate overall, but in some light it definitely appears a little more grey than it looks online. Great shirt, I can highly recommend it (actually loving almost their entire Gitman buy this season....the striped shirts are great too and I may have to pick one up eventually as well).

I think it would be an interesting pairing with Epaulet's gunmetal rivet chinos.

Yeah, I'd like to see that. I really like it with my RRL officer chinos and I may try it with my OD ripstop Rivet chinos as well.
