Anyone know where to find a blue oxford for a good price? Just got a size small off buy/sell but it's actually a mistagged size XS, doh! PM if anyone wants a size XS blue oxford.

^ The overdye is cool. The green or "moss" is a nice color, a good addition, goes well with a lot of things.

FYI, the "washed" black chambray is basically the same color as the black chambray from last season. I made the mistake of getting it, as my black chambray is one of my favorite shirts and I thought it would be a good alternative. When I got it, one might have been 1 fraction of a shade lighter, but really the same shirt.

Yup, the overdyed purple is sweet. Consider the overdyed navy.

Quick question for anybody that has experience in washing Gitman Vintage shirts...

I have the white/blue dishtowel shirt from this past S/S line and it needs a wash fairly bad. Got some stains here and there and the white is slowly turning into more of a "white-ish" color? I have been scared to make any attempts at washing it, anybody have any suggestions or experience in washing and drying Gitman shirts? I can't really afford to have this shirt shrink at all and would love for this thing to be white again so I'm a little hesitant.

I wash all of my Gitmans (including the white/blue dishtowel) with like colors in cold water, dry with same load in medium heat and remove about half way through and dry on a wooden hanger. As far as I can tell no noticeable shrinkage on any shirts. If you want to be safe, just wash it alone in cold water on gentle, or hand wash setting, and hang dry. I don't like getting the non oxford cloth shirts dry cleaned as I think they look better a bit wrinkled.

^ Wash all my gitman with cold water in the machine and then hang dry.

It takes about 24 hours to fully dry, then take a iron to the collar and front button area. Then hang in closet, haven't seen any shrinkage yet.

Gitmans are also all washed to begin with, so I think shrinkage is typically low.

The pretty standard way to wash anything without shrinkage is to cold wash and then lay flat to dry. Depending on material, you can hang dry also (sturdy cotton wont stretch much hang drying, linen blend will stretch slightly). I usually just cold wash gentle cycle, and then give it a quick iron to get out the wrinkles and let it dry completely on a hanger.

The Gitman Vintage long sleeves in the classic oxford fabric fit me well in M. However, this lighter weight plaid long sleeve in M from the S/S 2011 was too tight in the chest:

    http://needsupply.com/red-plaid-button-down.html

I'd like to have some GV short sleeves that fit me well too. Are there short sleeves that fit like the classic oxford long sleeves, or should I expect the short sleeves to be tighter in the chest too?

    Thanks!
