1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Wasn't there a poaster not too long ago in WAYWRN called "girl in a suit", or something along those lines?

I enjoyed her posts. Her handle was much shorter than you suggest, but I am blanking on it. Anyone? We need to throw a few of her pics up here.

My ability to find Janelle Monae attractive is seriously impaired by the fact that she has the same hairstyle as Buster Poindexter circa 1988 and the wardrobe just further emphasizes the similarities.

Yeah, guys, don't fuk it up! Kay? Especially stay away from the Ds on Bs kinda photos. This is a CELEBRATION of how good women (who normally dress completely girly) can rock MC when they want to.

Good thread. Tilda Swinton wears quite a nice charcoal pinstripe DB as Gabriel in the movie Constantine, but I can't find any decent pics. It's a suit that makes few concessions to the fact it's worn by a female actor, so isn't the most flattering of items, but is certainly striking. Found a partial screencap here.

This is something I have always liked as well.

But as someone else mentioned, dressing mc should be strictly reserved for pretty girls

Right. The juxtaposition of of the feminine with the masculine is what can make this charming. I don't, however, recommend women that look like Agatha Trunchbull try this.

I feel like this is a look that only works on the prettiest of girls(top 5% or so)

On an average looking girl it would just look butch.
