So, I bought into the hype and watched episode 1. Nothing about it grabbed me. It's the TV series equivalent of #whitegirlproblems. That said, the awkward sex scene and the firing scene that preceded it were good for a laugh. I'll probably give this show three more episodes to do something for me.

Watched it the other day online. I was expecting more of it. It Didn´t live up to all the hype, but it was just the first episode.

What hype? Apart from the ads and a couple of articles haven't heard much about it.

I was really disappointed. After Bored to Death and How to Make it in America were canceled, I really wanted another decent NYC show. This failed miserably, IMHO. Maybe it is because we are not 20-something girls. Meh.

Very little humor, and no wit or irony in the show. None the main characters are clever or even endearing. Me thinks all the hoopla is due to the media "being supportive" of unattractive, dumpy gals. The only good looking one better get her kit off real soon or else. Then again, she strikes me as being especially earnest, and that's a big turn off. Are college-educated, upper middle-class 20-somethings really this dependent in real life?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
