You can sleep on my couch if you must. Although now that you're a ballin-ass lawyer (pvt practice at that), you probably don't need to.

I'd like to stay at the Drake. I know it sounds cheesy, but I've wanted to ever since North by Northwest.

I mean.... it's probably the worst place to stay on magnificent mile as far as the name hotels. The charm that you are referring to is long, long gone. If you remember it from NbBw you'll likely just become depressed.

Sfield, would you say the Elysian or Hotel Felix are pretty sweet joints now?

I haven't checked out the Felix but the Elysian is beautiful. Put up some guests there recently and it was fantastic.

And for god sake if you do plan on throwing your money away staying there, do not, and I really mean DO NOT go eat at any of the restaurants there. They are fucking AWFUL.

Went to G & TG last night with kwilkinson (again, good call, Kyle). A wonderful dining experience. White tablecloth, top tier-quality food in an informal (albeit loud) setting. The service was spot on - the servers' enthusiasm for the food was palpable, and they were efficient and unobtrusive.

I highly recommend this place as a "must go" for anyone in Chicago.[IMG]

No problem, I think you talked me out of it. At least on Kyle's couch I'm assured of a happy ending and breakfast in the morning.

Spend that extra money at Alinea or something.

Instead of going to Alinea alone, he could always take me AND himself to Schwa..... [IMG]
