Gingham Shirt Help

I am putting the finishing touches on a look that I have in my mind for quite sometime, which is

- Grey Club Monaco Cardigan
- Grey gingham shirt
- black slim tie
- straight leg jeans
- Converse black low-tops

The problem is I'm having a terrible time finding one simple light grey gingham shirt to go with my ensemble. Are there any particular brands you recommend?

Try j crew. They had a gray gingham shirt this spring/summer.

I bought decent j.crew ginghams a while back. I think I saw gray ones from the store where I bought them. But just to add my $0.02, I think you could do better with a purple or blue gingham with a grey cardigan.

Yes, but would it work w/ a solid black tie?

With a dark grey one will be better, and I would not wear a tie with converses!
