Btw, sizing issues aside, it is quite nice and appears to be very well made.

Can you post a pic?

This is why I do not like the Gilt model....I understand it, just not a fan of it.

Here are two furtive photos of me in the office bathroom, taken by cell phone. I think this is colloquially known as the StyleForum Official Self-Portrait (TM).

My windbreaker is a Euro 56. I am a larger guy and I wear 56 in most things, though I will admit I am perhaps officially a US 45. I tend to like E56 garments cut in the trim Euro style, a la Isaia. It is definitely trim, but I got mine on over a shirt and sweater without any problems. I wouldn't try to play touch football in this thing, but that's not really what it's made for.

Did anyone buy the Barker ostrich captoe? I went back and forth, then someone made the decision for me.

Price was right. Had they put a little ostrich on the back of the shoe also I may have jumped. but no great loss.

NM. I like it and I objected to your quick and rather typically dismissive, absolute tone, but it's just not worth getting upset over it. I should have held my tongue, sorry.

If you're happy with the fit, great for you. IMO, I think it's too small and too short for you, especially if you wear it with jeans (i.e. lower waist than your dress pants).

^We'll see. You have a point about it being short. What I have on today is obviously not what I'll be wearing it with... jeans and khakis are more likely.
